How do I start tracking my order?
Download Boring Order Tracker from the App Store or Google Play. You can explore demo mode first. To view your own order, sign in through the Tesla login and select an order in the overview. The details shown depend on the account data available.
Which order details can I see?
Depending on your order and data availability, the app can show your reference number, vehicle configuration, VIN, delivery window, delivery center and tasks. Optional finance details and a raw data view provide more detail. An unavailable field remains unknown and does not prove that a specific production step has or has not happened.
What does change history show?
The app compares recorded data snapshots. You can see which values changed since the previous capture, such as a delivery window or a task. A technical field change does not automatically mean that the vehicle has moved or a new delivery appointment has been confirmed.
Can I see my VIN earlier?
If a VIN is already present in the order data available to the app, it can be displayed. The data source determines when it becomes available. It may appear earlier than in another view, but this is not guaranteed. A VIN alone confirms neither the current location nor a pickup appointment.
What if details are missing or out of date?
Check the last update time and whether offline mode is enabled. Offline mode displays cached data. If the source does not provide new information, the app cannot fill the gaps with reliable values. Use the Tesla app or your delivery center for confirmed information about your order.
How can I share my progress?
Privacy mode masks personal details such as order references and VINs in screenshots. Still check what is visible before sharing. When pickup arrives, the delivery checklist lets you record checkpoints, notes and photos and create a report.
